Philadelphia, where the weekend found its rhythm.
Some places introduce themselves immediately. Others let you look around first. Rittenhouse was the latter. A little jazz drifting through the square. People headed somewhere—and others with nowhere they needed to be just yet.
Old trees. Beautiful buildings. A city moving around all of it. Nothing staged. Nothing particularly concerned with impressing us. And maybe that's what made us pay attention.
Philadelphia had our attention.
We hadn't even gotten to the good part yet.
